Grace is my amazing and talented grandmother. Let me tell you, it has been a beautiful journey creating this book with her. We have worked hard for 4 years beginning with poorly drawn stick figures to the final book we have here, our passion project. 

 

When I approached her with this book idea she was a bit hesitant. After all, she is a happily retired illustrator living her retirement years in Hawaii. However, it didn't take long before loosely drawn sketches of Dennis and Sketch flooded my inbox. And so the voyage began.....

 

Throughout the book, there are easter eggs honor various family members. From Lynn's Pie Shop (my mom/her daughter) to Grandpa Steve's favorite swim trunks, we intentionally took our time to perfect our vision.

We like to be silly, drink wine, watch documentaries and inspire each other through art.

 

When two intensely creative minds come together, it adds color to the world.
